The January 2019 Garden

We’ve been lucky to have a fairly mild Winter up to this point. But Michigan isn’t known for consistent weather. We were due for real Winter weather and it has finally arrived. It has snowed and the temperatures have dipped into single digits. Yep. It’s January.

Here’s some photos showing the January garden. I remain hopeful for an early Spring (denial is the most powerful force in the universe). If an early Spring doesn’t work out, I’ll be forcing forsythia branches and Spring bulbs until our favorite season arrives. Garden season!
