Planting spring-blooming bulbs is a great way to add color to your garden or flower beds. The best time to plant these bulbs is in the fall when the weather starts to get colder. Before you get started, be sure to check the literature provided by the bulb supplier, so you know how deep to plant each bulb.

Also, I saved a handful of crocus bulbs to force indoors this winter. There is no happier sight in February than a pot full of crocus blooming on the window sill!
