I’ve finished most of the planting in the new Island border. I planted all deer resistant plants, but I discovered the local deer love Cranesbill ‘Rozanne’. Those plants needs to be relocated. I’ll have to figure out what to replace them with.
This video shows the planting scheme for the plants that have been installed. The prime objective for creating this Island border was to reduce the amount of turf in my front landscape. I’m happy to report that cutting the lawn last week took much less time. How cool is that?
I hope you find this video helpful. Once I finish up the front island border, I am moving to my second project of the season. I will be installing a new path and double perennial border in the backyard.
